IABOUT CONSERVATION FRAMING

The decision you make and the materials you use in framing makes a profound effect on the future life of your artwork. A professional framer should create - not only a great presentation for your work but also offer a protective environment. It is difficult outside a museum type environment to completely protect your work as is constantly bombarded with UV, heat, humidity and constantly changing temperatures This workshop will give you an understanding of what you can do to slow and minimise damage and what materials are available protect you precious collection of photographs or artwork.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

Time permitting you will frame one possibly more images giving you hands on experience. This intends to create an understanding of the importance of using, handling conservation framing materials and your artwork.
