The Pinhole Gathering is dedicated to pinhole photography and photographers who have a passion for this medium.

The inaugural meeting of the Pinhole Gathering (Obscura Assembly 2009) lead by David Tatnall was so successful that it was voted to be an annual event. This group of like-minded photographers, dedicated to the use of large format pinhole cameras met to share views information, and ideas while photographing the local region.

Proposed Schedule

8.30 The day will start with open discussion led by David Tatnall.
- Discussions metering, reciprocity failure and other issues bought up by the participants.

10.00 Morning Tea

10.30 In the field lunch provided

4.00 Film to be returned for processing. Time spend on discussing any immediate problems in the field.

6.00 Diner at the Pig and Whistle Hotel : NB: The diner is participants cost - lunch and morning tea are supplied.

Sunday

9.00 Meet and out in the field

1.00 Lunch

1.45 Film processed from previous day will be projected for discussion

2.45 David and participants share examples of their previous work.

3.30 Afternoon Tea

3.45 Open discussion

4.30 Closure
