ABOUT THE CONTACT PRINT
Before the introduction of the enlarger, contact printing was the only form of reproducing a photographic image. This meant the print was the same size as the negative. Today many large format users see contact printing as the ultimate way to produce prints offering greater detail and maintaining a higher degree of faithfulness to the negative.
