ABOUT CONSERVATION FRAMING
The decision you make and the materials you use in framing makes a profound effect on the future of your artwork. A professional framer should create not only a great presentation for your work but also offer a protective environment. Outside a museum type environment artwork and photographs are constantly bombarded with UV, heat, humidity fumes and constantly changing temperatures that are damaging to your work.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
Time permitting you will frame two, possibly more images giving you hands on experience. The background theory will provide an understanding of the importance of using, handling conservation framing materials and your artwork. This workshop will also give you an understanding of what you can do to slow and minimise damage of time and the environment to protect your photographs and artwork.
