When we retain our adornments and accessories they become pegs for memories of youth and glamour. The still lifes utilse ambient light only, seeking to capture the warm glow of memory. They are shown without context, which is often lost as memory fades.
This series of chrysotype photographic images beautifully portrays the femininity of the exhibition. The colours of the hand printed photographs are created through changing the humidity within the paper fibres effecting the gold chloride solution on the paper surface.
