Precious Light.
Precious Light is a developing body of photographic work exploring how images shift through light, surface, and movement
Using historic photographic processes including carbon transfer and platinum printing, photographs of Aotearoa New Zealand’s landscapes and flora are transformed into luminous objects on glass, paper, and translucent materials. As the viewer’s perspective changes, shifting surfaces and light continually transform the image, creating photographs that exist between image, object, and light.
