Yupo® is a type of synthetic paper made from polypropylene by the Yupo company in 1970s. The paper has distinct advantages and disadvantages when compared with conventional tree-based paper. The paper is resistant to tears, stains, chemicals, and water. Perfect for final support in carbon printing it does not require sizing or preshrinking but it MUST be washed in warm soapy water and rinsed before use.
