Description
Kinta oak tree
I have observed and photographed this tree in Kinta, Oklahoma, USA, for over 20 years. I have watched it go from standing tall to its horizontal decline. The sunset after the storm captures the dramatic weather that occurs in this region of South EasternOklahoma.
The town is named after the local creek, which in the native Choctaw language, is Kinta meaning Beaver. This tree was capturedin infrared giving a ghostly feel to the image.
