The Sentinel – Eucalyptus camaldulensis
This venerable giant of a tree, iconic of the Australian landscape, was photographed in infrared. It is located in Pomonal, Victoria,Australia near the Grampians National Park.
My intent was to capture the tree’s essence and majestic quality of light streaming through the canopy. In photographing thissentinel redgum
I hope to impart some of the wonderment associated with trees of remarkable age.
