A seasonal waterfall on the east side of El Capitan, Horsetail Fall is formed from rain and snow melt. For a couple of days in February, if the conditions are just right, it is illuminated by the setting sun and glows like fire, earning it the nickname ‘Firefall’.

Lith print on vintage Kentona paper. Split-toned in selenium rapid toner.
