Hydra Water Snake
In ancient Greece, Hydra was the female water snake. Of the night sky constellations Hydra is the largest and lies
alongside the Milky Way. It is easiest to find in Autumn. The fish is a carp, an introduced species, that I found at a Cairn Curran reservoir. The night sky photograph was taken at the same location.
