RA4 colour reversal direct positive printing uses colour photo paper, exposed in camera with illumination filtration and then processed to give a colour positive image.
This is a hands-on workshop:
You will be exploring elements of reversal colour photography using Fuji-film Cristal Archive mat and gloss paper 4 x 5 and 8 x 10 paper.
Methods of calculating exposures using hand held exposure meters
The Fuji Reversal paper is provided for this workshop and you’ll be exposing and processing in the workshop.
Topics covered:
- Loading and unloading sheet film holders cameras with Fuji paper
- Methods of exposing, using hand held exposure meters
- Use of filters
- Processing with and without a darkroom
- Handling and storing photographs
Bring your own 4 x 5 or 8 x 10 film camera or use cameras that will be available on the day.
