ABOUT LITH PRINTING
Lith Prints are usually warm-toned prints with a unique combination of subtle low contrast properties in the highlights, warm mid-tones, and high contrast colder tones in the shadows. It is an extremely flexible process and many variations may be found from highly graphic to soft ethereal effects. Lith prints tone well in selenium and gold.

ABOUT THE WORKSHOP
The workshop is aimed for printers with some experience and during the day you will:

Gain the knowledge and skills to enjoy the Lith experience in your own darkroom. Procedures require to get started (often the hardest process to work out) and to continue printing though the 2 days. This will include toning gold and selenium for archival protection and to create warm and/or cool effects to the photograph.

Learn to gauge what negatives are best suited.

Discover the chemistry formulas, paper stock and basic toning techniques.

A troubling shooting process to determine what is going wrong or where your print is just going.
